About the Tournament
This popular ladies fishing tournament started in 2001, a ladies, one-day backcountry fishing tournament to raise money to help feral cats here in the Upper Keys. What started out as a fun day of fishing has now become out major fund raiser to help so many needy animals. We are a 501(c)(3) charity recognized by the State of Florida. The tournament is held the third weekend in October every year.
Tentative Schedule of Events:
Friday Night: Kick Off at Islander Resort Cocktails/hor d’ oeuvres and Last Minute Registration 6:00-7:45pm, Rules at 7:15pm
Saturday: Angler sign in at Lorelei 6:30-7:15am, Lines in at 7:30, Lines out at 3:00 pm.
Saturday: Silent Auction and Litter Box Dig at Islander Resort: 12 noon – 8:15pm (open to the public),
Saturday: Cocktails & hor d’ oeuvres 6:30pm – 8:00, Awards Dinner at 8:00pm. Islander Resort
